As you may have read in my profile, I'm obsessed with all things organized, Pinterest and rearranging/redecorating. Today's post will be a small collection of my favorite blogs - where I draw inspiration or just plain daydream about how I had the talent of these amazing, genuine people...

Bliss
Wow... where did this past month go?
My new job is amazing. Great people, intense training, exhausting travel, immense growth. Coupled with endless mom-taxi trips to golf practice and matches all over southeastern Michigan, dad's sudden hip-replacement surgery and the quick sale of my mom's home it has been a whirlwind. I'm reminded of a saying: "God doesn't give you more than you can handle." But boy am I so ready to say "uncle"... lol.
We did manage a three day vacation to Florida. Great one on one time with my son - walking the beach, taking in the smells and the sound of the waves... the chilly water as we dipped our toes in what seemed like a never ending sea. God didn't miss any details when He created this amazing temporary home.
Soon school will be over, my mom will be all settled in her new place, my dad will give up his walker and hopefully be able to golf by the end of the summer... I hope to blog more and pursue my purpose and dreams. No fear. No excuses.

Reflection & New beginnings
Today when I think about the word "Luminosity" it brings to mind reflection and new beginnings... this past week has been ... hmmm ... stressful? A roller coaster? It started with an interview for a job I didn't think I'd take. And then a battle between this new company and my current place - for three days the battle ensued. Offers and counter offers. Flexibility, pros and cons. Flattering none the less, but lots of tears and stress. Even to the point of physical stress. I've lost at least three pounds this week (which isn't a bad side affect, but surely not a healthy weight loss tactic)!
In the end, the new company won. And rather than being worried about starting a new job I have peace. Gratefulness at a new beginning. Blessed by God's mercy and grace. The HR manager at my current company was very gracious and sent me the scripture so well known we almost take it for granted - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Peace is so powerful. Interestingly enough, the new HR manager happens to be the dad of a girl my son goes to school with. Mind you, Erich goes to a very small private Christian school. Can you see God's hand in all of this?
Reflection - like the sun bouncing off the vast ocean... I can almost hear it.
New beginnings - like the trees and flowers all bursting to life in this record breaking 70+ weather we're having here in Michigan.
Reflection - I can be a reflection of God's love for me and humankind.
New beginnings - I can show others that the "what's different about her?" is Jesus Christ.

Ahhhhh
I love to write. And share the great things I find in the blogs I subscribe to, the podcasts I listen to, and the bits of wisdom and greatness I hear or read in day-to-day life. Funny experiences and bloopers in my life. This blog will be about these things... maybe it will brighten someone's day, or connect people in some way. I pray it will be a blessing to those who read it. Meanwhile, reflect on what "Luminosity" means to you... what image does it bring to mind? For me, it's about finding authenticity. A single candle in the dark can bring light and warmth. Luminosity. I want to be it. Live it. Portray it. How about you?
